S.E.A.L. (Select, Extract, Anonymize, Load)

REVER S.E.A.L. solution offers comprehensive test data management capabilities for creating right-sized, fictionalized & anonymized test databases that accurately reflect end-to-end business processes. The tools help users eliminate costly cloning processes and correct defects early in the development process, when they are cheapest and easiest to fix. These solutions are designed to scale and meet growing testing requirements across applications and databases. The data anonymization capabilities obscure sensitive data effectively across nonproduction environments, while still providing meaningful data for use in development, testing or training. By anonymizing confidential data, organizations can protect privacy.

Data coherence and volume

The scope definition is based on the functional needs of the particular programs to test.

Through the use of S.E.A.L., the selection of the tables to be extracted (e.g. customer and payment tables) is automatically validated in order to guarantee the coherence of the test set, and the table selection is automatically completed with the necessary extra tables.

The quantity of data to extract is kept under control with different types of rules or specific cases well known by the business.

Those rules are easily combined, and the user can visualize the number of selected data at any time.

Multiple sources Databases,

The extraction can also be done from multiple sources databases depending on program needs. Beyond the production of data sets, S.E.A.L. can manage data sets from multiple data source.

Privacy, populate and evolve.

The privacy of confidential information is guarantee by the use of anonymization techniques: simple masking, substitution, use of specific algorithm... while keeping the coherence of data references.

S.E.A.L. allows testers to manage evolutions between two versions of a database. It can also produce new fictive data to populate new tables.

Integration with your environment

Based on a light Web Interface, S.E.A.L. can immediately be integrated in your work environment and allow you to access your databases directly through JDBC.

It takes care of creating and populating the target databases, archiving the different extractions, and reusing these archives.

Last but not least, S.E.A.L. offers a Web interface for browsing through the extracted data, as well as through the source data (if permitted).
